Eye Doctor
A tablet platform for ophthalmologists: take the measurements that matter in the chair, then show the patient the lenses, glasses and treatments the clinic actually offers.
Context
Fitting lenses is a conversation as much as a measurement. Cabinets needed a way to capture pantoscopic angle, pupillary distance and the rest of the patient record on a device that stays in the room — and to show inventory without walking the patient to a wall of frames.
What we built
A mobile application for tablets. Measurement modules for the consultation, and a virtual showcase of available lens types, glasses and treatments, configured per clinic so each cabinet presents its own catalogue.
Outcome
The product is in daily use in multiple cabinets across Europe. The same application supports the clinical measurement and the commercial conversation that follows it.
Measurement module
The measurement module is built as a computer vision application, using the tablet's camera to compute pantoscopic angle, pupillary distance and related values in real time, so the doctor and the technician know how to customize the lenses.
The showcase
After the numbers, the clinic still has to explain what can be prescribed. Eye Doctor holds the catalogue — lenses, glasses, treatments — as a virtual showcase. Each cabinet sees its own stock and options, not a generic list.
